What does it take to proofread a thesis paper? There are certain parameters that you must be concerned with. Actually, I have counted four parameters in proofreading any types of dissertation papers.
The first editing dissertation scheme is identifying the spelling errors. This is a process to look for misspelled words that were written in your thesis paper. It is quite easy to do because the process is direct to the point. Simply look for any words that were spelled incorrectly and edit it.
The second parameter of editing is grammar checking. This is more demanding that spell checks. You have to read each sentences in your paper to identify the possible grammatically unsound parts. Grammar structuring follows certain rules and conditions so you must be familiar with them.
The third part in editing is the coherence factor. Coherence is the natural and logical flow of discussions in the paper. Since you are writing a dissertation paper, it is important that the flow if information is correct and will lead to reliable results.
The last part of editing dissertation scheme is accuracy checking. If you have included numerical data in your research, you must look for possible inaccuracies in them. Verify the entire and match them to your source of information and see if they are all correct.
